A multi local Southeast Asian woman who works with Sinar Project as a project lead focusing on OpenSpending and social audit in Malaysia. Her role involves in analysing data on social audits, visualizing budgets at all levels of government in OpenSpending Next, research on policies against budgets, coordinating workshops and building networks with civil society and communities on the ground. Previously, she was the regional Southeast Asia coordinator with Open Knowledge International for Global Open Data Index 2015. Prior to Sinar Project, she worked as a data analyst in Tungsten Network, an electronic invoicing multinational company. She holds BA in Mathematics and Statistics from University of Selangor, Malaysia. She is passionate about topics related to open data, freedom of information, feminism, humanitarian work, sex education and mental health.
