Ramesh Bhushal is an award winning Kathmandu based environment journalist. He is the manager of Earth Journalism Network’s (www.earthjournalism.net) environmental data journalism initiative called ‘Geo-Journalism’ in South Asia. And, as Nepal Editor he contributes to South Asian environmental online www.thethirdpole.net. He has contributed to BBC Nepali Service as science reporter and worked as a principal environment correspondent in Nepal’s largest selling English daily 'The Himalayan Times'. Started his journalism career from 'Ujyaalo FM' radio network; he was also the social bureau coordinator for 'Republica' English daily. He sits on the Nepal Forum of Environmental Journalists’ Executive Board. Bhushal was awarded with WWF Media in Conservation Award in 2010.
