Gemini Cheng Pui Shan is an investigative reporter at Ming Pao Newspaper, Hong Kong. She participated in the reporting of the Panama Papers leak as part of the paper's investigative reporting team. Cheng and her team also wrote a feature series on a loophole in voter registrations which revealed ballot-rigging. The story was named winner of the print media in the 2015 Kam Yiu-Yu Press Freedom Awards. The Hong Kong native graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong with a degree in journalism and communications.
