The entire conference is invited to this gala event, featuring drinks, dinner, Nepali music, and a keynote address by Walter "Robby" Robinson of The Boston Globe. Robinson led the Spotlight team’s now-famous investigation that uncovered the Catholic Church sexual abuse scandal and won the 2003 Pulitzer gold medal for Public Service. He was played by actor Michael Keaton in the Oscar-winning movie Spotlight.

Also featured with be Kutumba, a seven-member Nepali folk instrumental ensemble, which performs with traditional instruments such as the tungna and sarangi. The word "Kutumba" has a special meaning in the Nepali language, representing the unique bond among community members.
