Worried that your email is not secure? You should be. Sending a routine email is like writing your message on an old postcard sent through hand-delivered mail. Here's one solution: former CERN particle physicist Andy Yen and his Swiss-based colleagues have developed the encrypted email service ProtonMail. Today, ProtonMail is the world's largest secure email service with users in over 150 countries. ProtonMail was originally developed to help dissidents, activists, and journalists combat mass surveillance, it has exploded in popularity and is now used by over 1 million people worldwide.
